In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Seagulls's goalkeeper Jurjen van der Gun, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Seagulls's Jurjen van der Gun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Seagulls from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Fulgencio Beliran took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Jurjen van der Gun to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ton Stolte in the 20th minute of play forced AFC CERBEROS's goalkeeper Abel Tabb to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the game, Joep Haremeijer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Seagulls's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AFC CERBEROS the free kick. When Arnulfo Manilan came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the AFC CERBEROS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arnulfo Manilan couldn't finish the play. In the 24th match minute, Seagulls was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carsten Klaasens to maneuver through the defense. Cornelio Valerio hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. 30 minutes into the match, Ton Stolte had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Abel Tabb. AFC CERBEROS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ton Stolte was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Jurjen van der Gun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Epifanio Hotz in the 34th minute of play. A collision led to AFC CERBEROS getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Moises Urko hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, AFC CERBEROS's Carmelo Beltxe got a free kick in the 40th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.
Jurjen van der Gun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Osasun in the 55th minute of the match. In the 56th minute Epifanio Hotz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jurjen van der Gun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Osasun in the 59th minute of play forced Seagulls's goalkeeper Jurjen van der Gun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Filiberto Bemabe charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Filiberto Bemabe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Seagulls's Reinhard Kloppenburg got a free kick in the 68th minute. AFC CERBEROS's Abel Tabb proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save AFC CERBEROS from getting a goal against them. In the 75th minute of the game, Epifanio Hotz landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Joep Haremeijer was shown his second yellow card after 75 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. AFC CERBEROS's Freddy Jerrold was substituted for Epifanio Hotz. Cornelio Valerio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jurjen van der Gun read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Jurjen van der Gun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fulgencio Beliran in the 80th minute of the match. In the 81st minute, Carsten Klaasens ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Abel Tabb was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. In the 86th minute Carsten Klaasens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Tabb saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, Seagulls's goal looked a bit too open when Freddy Jerrold came free, but Jurjen van der Gun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, Seagulls's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Osasun came free, but Jurjen van der Gun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fulgencio Beliran scored 3-2 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jurjen van der Gun, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee ended the match the AFC CERBEROS players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
