Thomas Muttaqien breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ichwan Rupawan's late challenge caught a Pajala Sunrise's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ichwan Rupawan helped the player get up and apologised. Pajala Sunrise's Johannes Friberger was substituted for Sebastian Tolsson. In the 17th match minute, BuanaRaya was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ichwan Rupawan to maneuver through the defense. 18 minutes into the game, Pajala Sunrise's 王 江志锋 nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pajala Sunrise's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BuanaRaya the free kick. 王 江志锋 kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Udin Sutikno to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Pajala Sunrise's zone, Udin Sutikno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cholachat Coolcat came out of the goal and Udin Sutikno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Kamarudin Duaramuri came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the BuanaRaya fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kamarudin Duaramuri couldn't finish the play. Mathias Nässén blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Thomas Muttaqien having to make a save. Abadi Supriatna hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Pajala Sunrise's Roger Heggert was substituted for Doug Las Casas. In the 69th play minute Roger Heggert came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Thomas Muttaqien. 0-3. In the 73rd match minute, BuanaRaya was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kamarudin Duaramuri to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in BuanaRaya's zone, 王 江志锋 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thomas Muttaqien came out of the goal and 王 江志锋 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 77th minute, Ichwan Rupawan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 81st minute, 王 江志锋 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 90 minutes into the match, BuanaRaya's goal looked a bit too open when Roger Heggert came free, but Thomas Muttaqien reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Pajala Sunrise left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than BuanaRaya.
