After 38 played minutes BuanaRaya got a freekick which was hit by Sirod Sihotang. When Epifanio Hotz came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the AFC CERBEROS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Epifanio Hotz couldn't finish the play. Thomas Muttaqien made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arnulfo Manilan in the 43rd minute. Thomas Muttaqien made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Arnulfo Manilan sent off a good shot on target. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
