After 10 minutes of play, Zuberbühler FC's Narciso Jesco made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Isaias Gurutz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Isaias Gurutz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonides Misael in the 13th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Luisito Reynardo made a precise shot to the right of Isaias Gurutz. Atlético Montserrat's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Rogelio Luzea kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. After 21 played minutes, Zuberbühler FC's Vairis Saule shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Isaias Gurutz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Zuberbühler FC reached it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gogo Rivero got free with Joaquin Raymundo in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Horacio Nevada scored 0-3 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Isaias Gurutz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Atlético Montserrat getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Casimiro Guillem hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Horacio Nevada managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zuberbühler FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Horacio Nevada was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isaias Gurutz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Narciso Jesco hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Enrique Tino kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. After 35 minutes, Horacio Nevada made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Atlético Montserrat's Isaias Gurutz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Horacio Nevada took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Isaias Gurutz. Isaias Gurutz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. In the 43rd minute Horacio Nevada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaias Gurutz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 47 played minutes Atlético Montserrat got a freekick which was hit by Severo Cutberto. After the first half Zuberbühler FC were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

If Gogo Rivero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zuberbühler FC's Mehmet Halis Kutsalmis was substituted for Narciso Jesco. Zuberbühler FC's Braulio Neto was substituted for Horacio Nevada. The audience thought a goal was coming when Braulio Neto got free with Isaias Gurutz in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gogo Rivero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Joaquin Raymundo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zuberbühler FC's Leonides Misael got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 92 minutes into the game, Braulio Neto lined in a short shot 0-9 behind a frustrated Isaias Gurutz. When the match was over Zuberbühler FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Atlético Montserrat throughout the match.
