After 5 played minutes RO Army V55 got a freekick which was hit by Manos Komaitis. Helmuth Duckadam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bray Paull in the 5th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, Mister Yasin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Helmuth Duckadam. RO Army V55's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mister Yasin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Mister Yasin might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Helmuth Duckadam. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mister Yasin ran back to his position shaking his head. 12 minutes into the match, RO Army V55's goal looked a bit too open when Mister Yasin came free, but Helmuth Duckadam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Fanis Katsiaounis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 20 minutes into the match, Mister Yasin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Helmuth Duckadam. RO Army V55's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mister Yasin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Helmuth Duckadam came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Manly FC's Mister Yasin. But to his dismay, Mister Yasin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 27th minute, Mister Yasin made a precise shot to the right of Helmuth Duckadam. RO Army V55's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. 32 minutes had been played when some careless play by RO Army V55's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bray Paull was slow to take the kick. During this time Manly FC's players had a chance to rest. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rob Burton in the 35th minute of play forced RO Army V55's goalkeeper Helmuth Duckadam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 37th minute of the game. One of RO Army V55:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Manly FC:s goal. The referee gave Manly FC a penalty, 38 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Mister Yasin, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of RO Army V55's Helmuth Duckadam. 0-5. 45 minutes into the match, Mister Yasin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Helmuth Duckadam. RO Army V55's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mister Yasin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6.

The wind increased when Louis Makris made the kick off in the second half. Mister Yasin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. RO Army V55's Helmuth Duckadam proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save RO Army V55 from getting a goal against them. A collision led to RO Army V55 getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Renos Stefanou hit a great ball. Mister Yasin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 61st match minute, RO Army V55 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thomas Grigoratos to maneuver through the defense. In the 62nd minute, Mister Yasin made a precise shot to the right of Helmuth Duckadam. RO Army V55's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. Manly FC made a substitution. Herman De Strijcker replaced Rob Burton. If Mister Yasin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 73 minutes into the match, RO Army V55's goalkeeper Helmuth Duckadam had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mister Yasin. Helmuth Duckadam showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valentino Panetta, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Sydney Ross showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Renos Stefanou in the 78th minute of the match. Mister Yasin received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Helmuth Duckadam came out and tried to block the shot, but Mister Yasin slotted it home off the left post making it 0-10 in the 83rd minute. The Manly FC fans' excitement grew in the 86th match minute when Manly FC's Mister Yasin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-11 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Mister Yasin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 94 minutes into the match, RO Army V55's goal looked a bit too open when Herman De Strijcker came free, but Helmuth Duckadam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Manly FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
