In the 16th minute Zdeněk Nesládek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domenico Sabatino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute, Beppe Zoff hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 19 minutes into the match, Sorci Viola's goal looked a bit too open when Zdeněk Nesládek came free, but Domenico Sabatino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31stth minute of the game Zdeněk Nesládek who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sorci Viola's Domenico Sabatino was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vasile Furdui struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Domenico Sabatino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SK Slavoj Vyšehrad. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Beppe Zoff stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fausto Bellomo charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Beppe Zoff recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The SK Slavoj Vyšehrad players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
