After a defensive mix-up in Astral Roots Gdynia's zone, Elias Garikoitz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sébastien Marionneau came out of the goal and Elias Garikoitz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kacper Zbydniowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias Garikoitz in the 11th minute of play forced Astral Roots Gdynia's goalkeeper Sébastien Marionneau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Heitor Peseiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kacper Zbydniowski in the 14th minute of the match. Heitor Peseiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arkadiusz Jarosz's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. In the 19thth minute of the game Elias Garikoitz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Astral Roots Gdynia's Sébastien Marionneau was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Elias Garikoitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sébastien Marionneau having to interfere. Marian Ciupierdo charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marian Ciupierdo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Marian Ciupierdo hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Dimas Álvares put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Sébastien Marionneau. In the 26th minute, Elias Garikoitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Kacper Zbydniowski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Astral Roots Gdynia's supporters rose to their feet, but Kacper Zbydniowski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Heitor Peseiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Heitor Peseiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kacper Zbydniowski in the 28th minute of play. Sébastien Marionneau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabrício Águas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Elias Garikoitz took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Sébastien Marionneau to make any attempt to save it. Ryszard Rutecki's late challenge caught a Garanhão do SUL's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ryszard Rutecki helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Astral Roots Gdynia's Ryszard Rutecki got a free kick in the 41st minute. In the 45thth minute of the game Elias Garikoitz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Astral Roots Gdynia's Sébastien Marionneau was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Ryszard Rutecki hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 57 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Dimas Álvares sped through Astral Roots Gdynia's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sébastien Marionneau. In the 65th match minute, Garanhão do SUL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Almiro Cabral to maneuver through the defense. Heitor Peseiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sylwester Hajduk in the 78th minute of the match. Dimas Álvares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Sébastien Marionneau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Garanhão do SUL's Tarcísio Palha got a free kick in the 81st minute. The supporters of Astral Roots Gdynia booed when Garanhão do SUL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julião Valverde didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Astral Roots Gdynia getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Sylwester Hajduk hit a great ball. Sébastien Marionneau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elias Garikoitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arkadiusz Jarosz got free with Heitor Peseiro in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Garanhão do SUL's Heitor Peseiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Garanhão do SUL from getting a goal against them.
