The audience thought a goal was coming when Shane Barratt got free with Robinho de Sena in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chollatit Reungaksorn in the 23rd minute of play forced Garlic Eaters's goalkeeper Gul Keep to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Seterma Tractors getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Cícero de Medeiros hit a great ball. Diogo Souto kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. After having played for 44 minutes, Osvaldo Terra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Seterma Tractors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Osvaldo Terra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Petrus Catarinense in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gul Keep saved Garlic Eaters from getting behind. Cliff Gurney hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Petrus Catarinense stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cícero de Medeiros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Gul Keep tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gul Keep made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Petrus Catarinense sent off a good shot on target. In the 56th minute Bruninho Falcão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robinho de Sena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Petrus Catarinense might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gul Keep. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chollatit Reungaksorn couldn't finish the play. Gul Keep made an important save on a dangerous shot by Petrus Catarinense in the 63rd minute. Osvaldo Terra kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the match, Seterma Tractors's goal looked a bit too open when Shane Barratt came free, but Robinho de Sena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robinho de Sena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruninho Falcão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th minute of the match Diogo Souto shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gul Keep showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Osvaldo Terra came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Seterma Tractors fans jumped to their feet.
