Purple Shadows's Dobromir Keep proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Purple Shadows from getting a goal against them. Esteban Frasco charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Esteban Frasco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 7th minute, Esteban Frasco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alberto Diagur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jakob Alberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Purple Shadows's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Emil Soliwoda in the 12th minute. The corner ended in Emil Soliwoda almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but PGE FC's Alberto Diagur did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gorom Kanø in the 14th minute of play forced PGE FC's goalkeeper Alberto Diagur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gorom Kanø took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alberto Diagur. Alberto Diagur dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Gorom Kanø struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Alberto Diagur didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. In the 24th minute of the match Emil Soliwoda sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alberto Diagur skillfully saved the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Purple Shadows's Gorom Kanø sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alberto Diagur narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alberto Diagur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gorom Kanø in the 39th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Esteban Frasco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dobromir Keep was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 40 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Esteban Frasco sped through Purple Shadows's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dobromir Keep. When Andres Cuartio fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PGE FC's protests and gave Andres Cuartio a yellow card for diving instead. Andres Cuartio hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. The Purple Shadows fans' excitement grew in the 56th match minute when Purple Shadows's Gorom Kanø looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a defensive mix-up in PGE FC's zone, Gorom Kanø stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alberto Diagur came out of the goal and Gorom Kanø tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gorom Kanøs short, quick shot in the 83rdth minute got Alberto Diagur to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Cristián Velazquez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Dobromir Keep tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jakob Alberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
