Granicerul's Octavian Bebeșel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walter Pandiani in the 28th minute of play. Diagur Infante made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Jack Ares sent off a good shot on target. Diagur Infante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eusebiu Ianculescu in the 34th minute of the match. Diagur Infante made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valeriu Uduleanu in the 38th minute.

52 minutes into the match, Fesport FC's goal looked a bit too open when Valeriu Uduleanu came free, but Diagur Infante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cipriano Vagrande's shot from long distance in the 53rd minute was not bad at all, but Granicerul's Octavian Bebeșel knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. In the 62nd match minute, Fesport FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cipriano Vagrande to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusebiu Ianculescu in the 66th minute of play forced Fesport FC's goalkeeper Diagur Infante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute Jack Ares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diagur Infante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Dragoş Grădinaru fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Granicerul's protests and gave Dragoş Grădinaru a yellow card for diving instead. Octavian Bebeșel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walter Pandiani in the 90th minute of the match. Granicerul's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
