In the 3rd minute Teun Schoenmakers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuca Bezerra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cobus Hemmen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luís Eduardo Arce's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. Adalberto Vianna came free with the goalkeeper in the 10th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Cobus Hemmen could save by the left post. Samuca Bezerra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacques Brinke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 15 minutes, Adriano Secco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rondinone F.C - FDFDF and the Lemel SV players grew even worse after the yellow card. Samuca Bezerra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serge de Boer, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. A hard shot 24 in the game by Gil dos Santos from a close distance when the talented Cobus Hemmen managed to make a qualified save. Lemel SV's players were relieved. 31 minutes into the match, Lemel SV's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Eduardo Arce came free, but Cobus Hemmen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lemel SV's Cobus Hemmen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Lemel SV from getting a goal against them. Gil dos Santos in the 37thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cobus Hemmen, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 46th minute, Gil dos Santos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rondinone F.C - FDFDF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Serge de Boer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adalberto Vianna in the 54th minute of play forced Lemel SV's goalkeeper Cobus Hemmen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd minute of the game Gil dos Santos made a throw-in which Tiaguinho Faria played forward. In the 65th minute Rondinone F.C - FDFDF were awarded a corner. Gil dos Santos went to the cornerflag to take it. After 70 played minutes Lemel SV got a freekick which was hit by Ted van der Schaaf. Samuca Bezerra was out of position in the 75 minute of play, and Ted van der Schaaf capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ted van der Schaaf really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. If Gil dos Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Lemel SV's Serge de Boer got a free kick in the 80th minute. Gil dos Santos took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 82nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cobus Hemmen. Lemel SV's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 84th minute, Luís Eduardo Arce left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rondinone F.C - FDFDF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Tiaguinho Faria charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tiaguinho Faria the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Lemel SV booed when Rondinone F.C - FDFDF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiaguinho Faria didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Samuca Bezerra got control of the ball when Ted van der Schaaf tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cobus Hemmen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gil dos Santos in the 92nd minute of the match. A collision led to Lemel SV getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Rudi Hateboer hit a great ball. Luís Eduardo Arce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cobus Hemmen having to interfere.
