Amelie FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Teun Schoenmakers 12 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. In the 17th minute, Lemel SV's Ted van der Schaaf dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Jacques Brinke hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Adolfo Fernado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serge de Boer in the 25th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aurelio Rubio to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ted van der Schaaf in the 51st minute of play forced Amelie FC's goalkeeper Adolfo Fernado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aurelio Rubio got free with Cobus Hemmen in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Lemel SV booed when Amelie FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aquiles Louis didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 62 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Amelie FC! Jan Sterenberg walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Koos Teunissen made in the 66th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Amelie FC's Nicasio Argenis. Adolfo Fernado didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Teun Schoenmakers went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. In the 71stth minute of the game Serge de Boer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Amelie FC's Adolfo Fernado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Isaias Pero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cobus Hemmen having to interfere. In the 82nd minute Serge de Boer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adolfo Fernado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Amelie FC defense, Teun Schoenmakers kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adolfo Fernado. The Amelie FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adolfo Fernado should have stopped the shot. 94 minutes into the game, Teun Schoenmakers cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Adolfo Fernado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Lemel SV fully deserved thier win.
