The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by José Luis Cucciufo during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Semjon Schapiro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 16th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Celso Janpier. Defensores de Lombroso's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 30th minute, Mark Stripf made a precise shot to the right of Celso Janpier. Defensores de Lombroso's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Mathieu Tippelt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Celso Janpier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mark Stripf, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. 36 minutes into the match, Adam Jäckel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Celso Janpier. Defensores de Lombroso's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adam Jäckel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Hertha 1969's Dante Jakob got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 40 minutes into the match, Mark Stripf had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Celso Janpier. Defensores de Lombroso's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mark Stripf was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5.

The wind increased when Adam Jäckel made the kick off in the second half. Celso Janpier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adam Jäckel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 52 minutes into the match, Defensores de Lombroso's goal looked a bit too open when Adam Jäckel came free, but Celso Janpier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dante Jakob charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dante Jakob the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 62nd match minute, Hertha 1969 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dante Jakob to maneuver through the defense. Defensores de Lombroso made a substitution. Miguel-Angel Merentiel replaced Ramiro Cidro. The supporters of Defensores de Lombroso booed when Hertha 1969 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dante Jakob didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64th minute Jacobo Avellaneda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erich Pietta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 73 played minutes, Defensores de Lombroso's Vinicio Jayvier shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Erich Pietta came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Defensores de Lombroso reached it. Hertha 1969 were awarded a corner in the 83th minute after Defensores de Lombroso's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Semjon Schapiro took the corner. The corner ended in Semjon Schapiro almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Defensores de Lombroso's Celso Janpier did a great save. 87 minutes into the match, Adam Jäckel notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of Defensores de Lombroso's Celso Janpier. Celso Janpier was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpected shot in the 92nd minute by Klemens Teubner got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When the final whistle sounded Hertha 1969 left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Defensores de Lombroso.
