The supporters of Hahay booed when Elderslie Magpies was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Drake Crampton didn't get a good kick on the ball. Esteban Guerrero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delmar Berenguer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Delmar Berenguer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Esteban Guerrero was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Esteban Guerrero dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Esteban Guerrero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Blažej Ravanelli, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Elderslie Magpies's goalkeeper Esteban Guerrero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 46 minutes had been played when some careless play by Elderslie Magpies's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gökmen Parshan was slow to take the kick. During this time Hahay's players had a chance to rest. The Elderslie Magpies players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Hahay were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Esteban Orixe to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Elderslie Magpies's Drake Crampton got a free kick in the 77th minute. 81 minutes into the match, Delmar Berenguer notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Elderslie Magpies's Esteban Guerrero. Esteban Guerrero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Elderslie Magpies fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Hahay were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
