In the 17th minute Siro Oroitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Markus Fågel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Polly Magoo Juniors's Gösta Bergman got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 25 minutes into the match, German Cibran notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Branco FC's Esteban Iigo. Esteban Iigo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 30 minutes into the game, one of Branco FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Esteban Iigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zhuang Wen Bang in the 52nd minute of the match. After 57 minutes, Justo Cordara mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Branco FC and the Polly Magoo Juniors players grew even worse after the yellow card.
