The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. That made the score 3-0 in the 23 minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Tudor Sălcudeanu notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Atlético Nuevo Laredo's Benicio Javiero. Benicio Javiero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rigoberto Olentzaro hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Benicio Javiero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tudor Sălcudeanu in the 34th minute of the match. Benicio Javiero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tudor Sălcudeanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. After some careless play in the Atlético Nuevo Laredo defense, Timur Chichko kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benicio Javiero. The Atlético Nuevo Laredo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benicio Javiero should have stopped the shot. In the 39th minute, Tudor Sălcudeanu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benicio Javiero was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Tudor Sălcudeanu took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benicio Javiero. Benicio Javiero dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. 46 minutes into the match, Феникс Санкт-Петербург's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigo Rojas came free, but 赵珂冰 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th minute, Rodrigo Rojas made a precise shot to the right of 赵珂冰. Феникс Санкт-Петербург's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 7-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Timur Chichko was the one to do the kick off. After 56 minutes, Tudor Sălcudeanu made it 8-1 with a short kick to the right side. The Atlético Nuevo Laredo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benicio Javiero should have stopped the shot. Benicio Javiero came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Феникс Санкт-Петербург's Timur Chichko. But to his dismay, Timur Chichko quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 12-1. Benicio Javiero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tudor Sălcudeanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benicio Javiero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Liu Jie, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. 78 minutes into the match, Atlético Nuevo Laredo's goal looked a bit too open when Timur Chichko came free, but Benicio Javiero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Феникс Санкт-Петербург getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Timur Chichko hit a great ball. Феникс Санкт-Петербург's Anatoliy Bogolyub was substituted for Tudor Sălcudeanu. But to his dismay, Timur Chichko quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 13-1. In the 86th match minute, Atlético Nuevo Laredo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Martxot to maneuver through the defense. Феникс Санкт-Петербург's Timur Chichko got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 91st minute, Anatoliy Bogolyub ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benicio Javiero was frozen by the shot and now it was 14-1. In the 96th minute Anatoliy Bogolyub shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benicio Javiero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Феникс Санкт-Петербург walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
