In the 39th minute, Henrique Borges reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Inocencio Veronica. The goal made the score 4-0. Rafaela FC's Inocencio Veronica proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Rafaela FC from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Henrique Borges slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Inocencio Veronica. That made the score 5-0 after 46 minutes of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rodrigo-Sebastian Palacio was the one to do the kick off. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Hansjörg Wastl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ross Strong in the 64th minute of play. 64 minutes into the game, Ross Strong recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hansjörg Wastl. Ross Strong showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-1. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Edu Carvalho was substituted for Henrique Borges. Edu Carvalho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Inocencio Veronica read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play.
