If Marten Palermo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Belfegor FC's Fede Gomes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Waud Soetemans in the 16th minute of play. In the 20th minute Waud Soetemans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fede Gomes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Belfegor FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Modesto Bernal in the 23rd minute. In the 25thth minute of the game Everardo Colas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Black Dragons's Hannes Dresdner was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Black Dragons's goalkeeper Hannes Dresdner had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marten Palermo. 28 minutes into the match, Belfegor FC's goal looked a bit too open when I Putu í Lon Jacobsen came free, but Fede Gomes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marten Palermos short, quick shot in the 31stth minute got Hannes Dresdner to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Black Dragons's defense didn't have a chance, in the 32nd minute, when Marten Palermo scored to the left of an out of position Hannes Dresdner, making the score, 1-0. Fede Gomes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from I Putu í Lon Jacobsen in the 38th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marten Palermo got free with Hannes Dresdner in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell I Putu í Lon Jacobsen to make the kick off. Hannes Dresdner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Everardo Colas, who was totally free with the ball in the 50th minute. Marten Palermo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Everardo Colas scored 2-0 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hannes Dresdner, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fede Gomes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bodo Rodel, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. After a rather tough play, Black Dragons's Rico Roy got a free kick in the 65th minute. Belfegor FC made a substitution. Fernando Diaz replaced Cesar Barbosa. Black Dragons made a substitution. Sander Buckinx replaced Rico Roy. A collision led to Black Dragons getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Rico Roy hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when I Putu í Lon Jacobsen got free with Fede Gomes in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marten Palermo might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hannes Dresdner. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marten Palermo ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Black Dragons getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Patrick Wenzel hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marten Palermo in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hannes Dresdner prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Belfegor FC's Fede Gomes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Belfegor FC from getting a goal against them. In the 83rd minute Dong Ming Qian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hannes Dresdner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hannes Dresdner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marten Palermo in the 87th minute of play. Marten Palermo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 93 minutes into the match, Black Dragons's goal looked a bit too open when Marten Palermo came free, but Hannes Dresdner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Black Dragons's zone, Modesto Bernal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hannes Dresdner came out of the goal and Modesto Bernal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Black Dragons players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Belfegor FC.
