Hannes Dresdner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eloy Gipuzkoa in the 46th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rodrigo-Sebastian Palacio in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hannes Dresdner prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 54 minutes into the match, Black Dragons's goal looked a bit too open when Esteban Ikatz came free, but Hannes Dresdner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Black Dragons's goalkeeper Hannes Dresdner, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A wasted opportunity for Rafaela FC. 91 minutes into the game, Rafaela FC's Rodrigo-Sebastian Palacio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hannes Dresdner made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Black Dragons's Hannes Dresdner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo-Sebastian Palacio in the 96th minute of play.
