The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Nicolas Joey made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Baldomero Hermon sent off a good shot on target. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ were awarded a corner in the 7th minute after FC ARK CS's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Naldo Valladares took the corner. After taking down the ball on Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's corner Naldo Valladares fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Nicolas Joey quite easily take care of the ball. The Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ fans' excitement grew in the 12th match minute when Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Henrique Borges looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Hansjörg Wastl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sammy Corcoran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Henrique Borges might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nicolas Joey. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Henrique Borges ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, FC ARK CS's Nicolas Joey got control of the ball when Henrique Borges tried to sneak it across the goal line. 26 minutes into the game, Henrique Borges cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Nicolas Joey was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Baldomero Hermon struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Nicolas Joey didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Henrique Borges got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Júlio Severo kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. After 35 minutes, Noel Elvins mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC ARK CS and the Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC ARK CS's Noel Elvins got a free kick in the 35th minute. In the 36th minute of the match, Henrique Borges tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nicolas Joey saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 37th minute Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ were awarded a corner. Naldo Valladares went to the cornerflag to take it. FC ARK CS's Nicolas Joey proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save FC ARK CS from getting a goal against them. When Naldo Valladares fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's protests and gave Naldo Valladares a yellow card for diving instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edgar Lang made a kick off. Nicolas Joey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henrique Borges in the 52nd minute of play. Nicolas Joey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henrique Borges in the 57th minute of the match. Hansjörg Wastl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgar Lang, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 63rd minute FC ARK CS were awarded a corner. Sammy Corcoran went to the cornerflag to take it. Nicolas Joey didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edu Carvalho went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. In the 69th minute, Baldomero Hermon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nicolas Joey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edu Carvalho in the 71st minute of play. Edu Carvalho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nicolas Joey read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edu Carvalho in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nicolas Joey saved FC ARK CS from getting behind. In the 79th minute, Júlio Severo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC ARK CS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Emiel Desmet was substituted for Naldo Valladares. FC ARK CS's Nicolas Joey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edu Carvalho in the 85th minute of play. Júlio Severo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Hansjörg Wastl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 91 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ! In the 96th match minute, FC ARK CS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Noel Elvins to maneuver through the defense. 97 minutes into the match, FC ARK CS's goal looked a bit too open when Edu Carvalho came free, but Nicolas Joey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ had won after a very even match.
