Inocencio Veronica showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bryan White in the 12th minute of the match. In the 13th minute, Camillo Daniele hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rafaela FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Nico Veit in the 18th minute. In the 24th minute Esteban Ikatz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolas Joey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Júlio Severo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Inocencio Veronica made a huge save. Rafaela FC's Inocencio Veronica proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Rafaela FC from getting a goal against them. Alex Suhendar's late challenge caught a FC ARK CS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alex Suhendar helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of FC ARK CS booed when Rafaela FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Suhendar didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 40 minutes, Júlio Severo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC ARK CS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Júlio Severo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nicolas Joey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo-Sebastian Palacio in the 42nd minute of the match. After 43 minutes FC ARK CS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Nico Veit who took care of the corner kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Esteban Ikatz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rafaela FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Esteban Ikatz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicolas Joey breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nico Veit lost his temper 48 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Inocencio Veronica had in the 50thth minute some difficulties stopping Júlio Severo's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Rafaela FC made a substitution. Octavio Gonzo replaced Eloy Gipuzkoa. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rodrigo-Sebastian Palacio was the one to do the kick off. After 57 minutes Rafaela FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sammy Corcoran who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Sammy Corcoran almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Rafaela FC's Inocencio Veronica did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bryan White in the 61st minute of play forced Rafaela FC's goalkeeper Inocencio Veronica to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The FC ARK CS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. If Júlio Severo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. Ross Strong hit a great ball. Inocencio Veronica took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Barry Charles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Rafaela FC booed when FC ARK CS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Noel Elvins didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nicolas Joey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Octavio Gonzo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 99th minute, Rodrigo-Sebastian Palacio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Inocencio Veronica made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sammy Corcoran in the 101st minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC ARK CS fans cheered their team off the field, for while Rafaela FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
