A collision led to Borussia Dortmund getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Tomas Levander hit a great ball. After 13 played minutes Joinville City - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Henrique Camargo. In the 15th minute Tomas Levander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haji Sarap saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Geovanildo Luis in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yao Zhan Sang saved Borussia Dortmund from getting behind. Geovanildo Luis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 24 minutes into the match, Borussia Dortmund's goal looked a bit too open when Geovanildo Luis came free, but Yao Zhan Sang reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Haji Sarap showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baltazar Clavijo, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. 27 minutes into the match, Borussia Dortmund's goal looked a bit too open when Geovanildo Luis came free, but Yao Zhan Sang reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fernando Grover was the one to do the kick off. When Mathias Laborda fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Borussia Dortmund's protests and gave Mathias Laborda a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Borussia Dortmund fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 58th minute. Penalty! Joinville City - FSCMZ's Marius Mititel was substituted for Ronaldinho Gaucho. The Borussia Dortmund fans' excitement grew in the 96th match minute when Borussia Dortmund's Fernandez Quintairos looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The Borussia Dortmund supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Joinville City - FSCMZ's performance. The match ended with a win for Joinville City - FSCMZ.
