George Buturugã showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jose Brejnebøl in the 3rd minute of the match. 12 minutes into the match, 14 YâReN FC's goal looked a bit too open when Özgür Özbay came free, but Andoni Zubizarreta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andoni Zubizarreta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sulo Montaña, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaan Öztanır in the 15th minute of play forced 14 YâReN FC's goalkeeper Andoni Zubizarreta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andoni Zubizarreta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Özgür Özbay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bektaş Veli Ülgü hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. In the 26thth minute of the game Sulo Montaña who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 14 YâReN FC's Andoni Zubizarreta was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jose Brejnebøl's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but George Buturugã read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. After 38 played minutes LOI got a freekick which was hit by Mehmet Akif Cerme. 39 minutes into the match, 14 YâReN FC's Jose Brejnebøl sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that George Buturugã narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of 14 YâReN FC booed when LOI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kaan Öztanır didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cabbar Dinçay kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sulo Montaña to strike the kick off in the second half. Jose Brejnebøl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. LOI's George Buturugã played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jose Brejnebøl in the 54th minute of play. After 66 minutes, Faruk Özakay mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the 14 YâReN FC and the LOI players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 66th minute, Faruk Özakay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. LOI's Eriberto Segio was substituted for Kaan Öztanır. 14 YâReN FC's Kurt Julin was substituted for Jose Brejnebøl. In the 67th match minute, 14 YâReN FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Faruk Özakay to maneuver through the defense. George Buturugã took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kurt Julin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. George Buturugã came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by 14 YâReN FC's Kayhan Özercan. But to his dismay, Kayhan Özercan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After a rather tough play, 14 YâReN FC's Ömer-Faruk Tokat got a free kick in the 79th minute. LOI made a substitution. Habib Durukan replaced Ahmet Hamdi Ortan. After 83 played minutes LOI got a freekick which was hit by Semail Ilıca. 84 minutes into the game, Kayhan Özercan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. George Buturugã was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Kurt Julin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but George Buturugã was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. 14 YâReN FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kayhan Özercan in the 89th minute. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Toma Bo advanced and headed the ball into goal, 3-0 in the 89th minute. In the 92nd minute Özgür Özbay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andoni Zubizarreta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andoni Zubizarreta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kerimhan Cevher, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. After some careless play in the 14 YâReN FC defense, Kerimhan Cevher kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Andoni Zubizarreta. The 14 YâReN FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andoni Zubizarreta should have stopped the shot. LOI's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
