The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cãlin Damaschin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dariusz Wos, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Cãlin Damaschin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dariusz Wos in the 5th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis in the 8th minute of play forced A.C. Patagonia's goalkeeper Maximino Ticho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cãlin Damaschin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcin Cebula in the 12th minute of play. When A.C. Patagonia's Dariusz Wos in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. CERRO PORTEÑO's Cãlin Damaschin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcin Cebula in the 16th minute of play. Moreno Martins could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Maximino Ticho made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dariusz Wos in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cãlin Damaschin saved CERRO PORTEÑO from getting behind. 27 minutes into the game, Gabino Ojeda threw the ball into play from the sideline. A.C. Patagonia's Rui Costa quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After having played for 28 minutes, Dariusz Wos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A.C. Patagonia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dariusz Wos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cãlin Damaschin came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by A.C. Patagonia's Dariusz Wos. But to his dismay, Dariusz Wos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dariusz Wos in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cãlin Damaschin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Maximino Ticho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 王树帆, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dariusz Wos in the 42nd minute of play forced CERRO PORTEÑO's goalkeeper Cãlin Damaschin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cãlin Damaschin came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by A.C. Patagonia's Dariusz Wos. But to his dismay, Dariusz Wos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. CERRO PORTEÑO's Alan Paredes was substituted for 王树帆. CERRO PORTEÑO's 任棋振 was substituted for Moreno Martins.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis to strike the kick off in the second half. Dariusz Wos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cãlin Damaschin having to make a save. 51 minutes into the match, CERRO PORTEÑO's goal looked a bit too open when Dariusz Wos came free, but Cãlin Damaschin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cãlin Damaschin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dariusz Wos in the 54th minute of play. CERRO PORTEÑO's Cãlin Damaschin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dariusz Wos in the 55th minute of play. A.C. Patagonia made a substitution. Aldo Di Carlo replaced Dariusz Wos. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aldo Di Carlo in the 64th managed to get into a good position. Cãlin Damaschin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aldo Di Carlo, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aldo Di Carlo in the 69th minute of play forced CERRO PORTEÑO's goalkeeper Cãlin Damaschin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A.C. Patagonia were awarded a corner in the 70th minute after CERRO PORTEÑO's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rui Costa took the corner. In the 78th minute Aldo Di Carlo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cãlin Damaschin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, CERRO PORTEÑO's goal looked a bit too open when Aldo Di Carlo came free, but Cãlin Damaschin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 83 minutes into the match, Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of A.C. Patagonia's Maximino Ticho. Maximino Ticho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Aldo Di Carlo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cãlin Damaschin was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. In the 89th minute, Aldo Di Carlo made a precise shot to the right of Cãlin Damaschin. CERRO PORTEÑO's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. Aldo Di Carlo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Cãlin Damaschin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Aldo Di Carlo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cãlin Damaschin was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. A.C. Patagonia played a much better game than CERRO PORTEÑO and deserved their victory. The CERRO PORTEÑO players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
