Gabino Ojeda didn't get a good kick on the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Petter Skarkman notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of CERRO PORTEÑO's Cãlin Damaschin. Cãlin Damaschin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. CERRO PORTEÑO made a substitution. Alan Paredes replaced 王树帆. Bolo Skjold didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.
Fernando Arango kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. 53 minutes into the match, Protegéerna's goal looked a bit too open when Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis came free, but Bolo Skjold reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 53 minutes of play, CERRO PORTEÑO's Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. CERRO PORTEÑO's supporters rose to their feet, but Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bolo Skjold breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. CERRO PORTEÑO's Cãlin Damaschin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petter Skarkman in the 72nd minute of play. In the 90th minute, Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The throw-in from Vermudo Capetillo in the 92nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Protegéerna's Xu Yi Chong. Guido Python sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Protegéerna's Petter Skarkman got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Protegéerna were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of CERRO PORTEÑO for a fine match.
