Marcelinho Barral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cai Yuan Yuan, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Pankracy Zajonc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ksawery Winnicki in the 14th minute of play. Roceira SC's Marcelinho Barral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aras Görkem Kaymaz in the 15th minute of play. When Cai Yuan Yuan came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the MZ Fénix fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cai Yuan Yuan couldn't finish the play. Pankracy Zajonc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ksawery Winnicki in the 19th minute of play. Marcelinho Barral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cai Yuan Yuan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes into the game, Cai Yuan Yuan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Marcelinho Barral was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 38th minute Cai Yuan Yuan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelinho Barral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, MZ Fénix's Pankracy Zajonc got control of the ball when Hulk Speed tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nicolas Balsemão kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hulk Speed stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 61 minutes, Cai Yuan Yuan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MZ Fénix's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cai Yuan Yuan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Roceira SC's goalkeeper Marcelinho Barral, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 64th minute MZ Fénix were awarded a corner. Aras Görkem Kaymaz went to the cornerflag to take it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michel Haaland in the 71st minute of play forced MZ Fénix's goalkeeper Pankracy Zajonc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Florin Dragușin could shoot a difficult shot in the 75th minute, which Marcelinho Barral however easily saved by the left post. Cai Yuan Yuan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcelinho Barral having to make a save. MZ Fénix made a substitution. Alexandre Valido replaced Vladimiro Granja. A collision led to Roceira SC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Válbson Moraes hit a great ball.
