Niculae Ailenei made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Aras Görkem Kaymaz sent off a good shot on target. Bazellatin F.C.'s Niculae Ailenei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aras Görkem Kaymaz in the 16th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Kunga King had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pankracy Zajonc. MZ Fénix's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kunga King was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Pankracy Zajonc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kunga King, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to MZ Fénix getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Basilio Ovando hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amadeu Bessa in the 24th minute of play forced MZ Fénix's goalkeeper Pankracy Zajonc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pankracy Zajonc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Maria Píriz, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. When Kunga King came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Bazellatin F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kunga King couldn't finish the play.

The wind increased when Kunga King made the kick off in the second half. Basilio Ovando hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. After 51 played minutes, Bazellatin F.C.'s Amadeu Bessa shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Pankracy Zajonc came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bazellatin F.C. reached it. MZ Fénix's Pankracy Zajonc proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save MZ Fénix from getting a goal against them. Kunga King sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 61 minutes into the match, MZ Fénix's goalkeeper Pankracy Zajonc had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kunga King. Bazellatin F.C. made a substitution. Demis Poulkos replaced Lambros Giotas. Bazellatin F.C.'s Amadeu Bessa was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Pankracy Zajonc in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Dan Hasselqvist hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Bazellatin F.C.'s Dimosthenis Tsimilis was substituted for Marty Bettney. MZ Fénix made a substitution. Alexandre Valido replaced Vladimiro Granja. After 67 played minutes, MZ Fénix's Aras Görkem Kaymaz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Niculae Ailenei came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. Amadeu Bessa did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-2 to the left of a surprised Pankracy Zajonc 78 minutes into the match. Demis Poulkos made in the 81st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Bernardino Abastas. In the 83rd minute, Cai Yuan Yuan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MZ Fénix fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. MZ Fénix's Pankracy Zajonc proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save MZ Fénix from getting a goal against them. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
