Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Espen Steelers's Alain Berset started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Patrick Hanselmann managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fc Pawonków's supporters rose to their feet, but Patrick Hanselmann was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gregor Kobel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Fc Pawonków's Diaz Leniz got a free kick in the 5th minute. After 6 played minutes, Espen Steelers's Williams Imholz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tanek Fetor came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Espen Steelers reached it. In the 8th minute, Williams Imholz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tanek Fetor was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Gregor Kobel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrick Hanselmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 16th minute Williams Imholz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tanek Fetor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th minute, Denis Dolfo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 22nd minute Tytus Kuszczak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gregor Kobel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gregor Kobel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tytus Kuszczak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute Alain Berset shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tanek Fetor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th minute of the match, Patrick Hanselmann got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gregor Kobel was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 29thth minute of the game Nino Schurter who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fc Pawonków's Tanek Fetor was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tytus Kuszczak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nino Schurter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Tanek Fetor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Diaz Leniz kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Patrick Hanselmann to make the kick off. With a little luck, Fc Pawonków's Tanek Fetor got control of the ball when Williams Imholz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alain Berset's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Tanek Fetor firmly grabbed it by the left post. Gregor Kobel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tytus Kuszczak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Fc Pawonków's goalie and right to Nino Schurter. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Fc Pawonków's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Tanek Fetor didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alain Berset went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Alain Berset could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Tanek Fetor made a huge save. Fc Pawonków's Tanek Fetor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alain Berset in the 71st minute of play. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Alain Berset took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Tanek Fetor to make any attempt to save it. Tanek Fetor was a little too slow when Nino Schurter got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 84th minute. The score was now 1-4. Tanek Fetor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stan Wawrinka in the 87th minute. Espen Steelers's Gregor Kobel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tytus Kuszczak in the 93rd minute of play. In the 96th minute Nino Schurter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tanek Fetor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Espen Steelers supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Espen Steelers would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
