An unexpectedly hard shot by Joris De Raeve in the 12th minute of play forced Soroca F.C.'s goalkeeper Dan Wennerqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adrián Espadas in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sean Van Dijck prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Gustavo Tartalo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Brend Vanden Driessche could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Dan Wennerqvist made a huge save. Dan Wennerqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joris De Raeve in the 23rd minute of play. Adrián Espadas struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Sean Van Dijck didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Soroca F.C.. Sean Van Dijck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hernan Lano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Soroca F.C.'s Adrián Espadas got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 36thth minute of the game Adrián Espadas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Limburg United's Sean Van Dijck was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adrián Espadas in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sean Van Dijck saved Limburg United from getting behind. Amador Azailla hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joris De Raeve was the one to do the kick off. Sean Van Dijck made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adrián Espadas in the 52nd minute. After having played for 58 minutes, Adrián Espadas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Soroca F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Adrián Espadas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Soroca F.C.'s Godofredo Quilino was substituted for Gustavo Tartalo. Soroca F.C. made a substitution. Răzvan Necula replaced Adrián Espadas. 62 minutes into the match, Răzvan Necula had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sean Van Dijck. Limburg United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Răzvan Necula was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Soroca F.C. made a substitution. Cosme Jaen replaced Hernan Lano. Răzvan Necula might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sean Van Dijck. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Răzvan Necula ran back to his position shaking his head. Through an outstanding action, after 67 minutes, Sean Van Dijck successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Răzvan Necula might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sean Van Dijck. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Răzvan Necula ran back to his position shaking his head. After 75 played minutes Soroca F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Godofredo Quilino. In the 76th minute Fredrik Terwenhout shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dan Wennerqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 81st minute, Froilan Abar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sean Van Dijck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Răzvan Necula, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Răzvan Necula had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 85 minutes, Răzvan Necula made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. Limburg United's Sean Van Dijck tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 93rd minute, Răzvan Necula ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sean Van Dijck was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Soroca F.C. eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
