In the 40th minute, Edgard Teles reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gui Almeida. The goal made the score 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Komen Schotte was the one to do the kick off. Edgard Teles's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gui Almeida read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. After some careless play in the Chinho FC defense, Edgard Teles kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gui Almeida.
