In the 3rd minute, Tomasz Sobania ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luizinho Paranaense was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomasz Sobania in the 6th minute of play forced Juventus Telford's goalkeeper Luizinho Paranaense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Tomasz Sobania managed to get in a good position for a shot. Luizinho Paranaense breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Juventus Telford's Luizinho Paranaense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elmar Roorda in the 13th minute of play. Luizinho Paranaense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomasz Sobania in the 16th minute of play. 18 minutes into the game, Tomasz Sobania cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Luizinho Paranaense was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Soczewki Gliwice's Damazy Kensicki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Soczewki Gliwice from getting a goal against them. Juventus Telford's Luizinho Paranaense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomasz Sobania in the 41st minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Juventus Telford's goal looked a bit too open when Tomasz Sobania came free, but Luizinho Paranaense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Soczewki Gliwice's Elmar Roorda got a free kick in the 47th minute. After the first half Soczewki Gliwice were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Boruc Spychalski made the kick off in the second half. Luizinho Paranaense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgar Matela in the 60th minute of play. Tomasz Sobania might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luizinho Paranaense. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomasz Sobania ran back to his position shaking his head. Juventus Telford's Luizinho Paranaense proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Juventus Telford from getting a goal against them. Luizinho Paranaense made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Tomasz Sobania sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 70 minutes, Tomasz Sobania managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Soczewki Gliwice's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomasz Sobania was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Soczewki Gliwice's Jago Back was substituted for Mister Rio. Soczewki Gliwice made a substitution. Cyprian Bykowski replaced Kayhan Canfeda. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Tomasz Sobania managed to get in a good position for a shot.
