An unexpectedly hard shot by Dale Dolar in the 5th minute of play forced Fillos de Breogán's goalkeeper Garibaldo Quijana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 8 minutes into the match, Fillos de Breogán's goal looked a bit too open when Dale Dolar came free, but Garibaldo Quijana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patricio Ugutz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Bogatu in the 10th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Barcellos Mineiro FC's zone, Orti Sánchez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patricio Ugutz came out of the goal and Orti Sánchez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dale Dolar in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Garibaldo Quijana prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dale Dolar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Garibaldo Quijana having to make a save. In the 19th match minute, Fillos de Breogán was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oto Gómez to maneuver through the defense. In the 22nd minute Orti Sánchez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patricio Ugutz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dale Dolar in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Garibaldo Quijana prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Garibaldo Quijana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dale Dolar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Dale Dolar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 27th minute Dale Dolar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Garibaldo Quijana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Dale Dolar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Garibaldo Quijana. Fillos de Breogán's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dale Dolar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Garibaldo Quijana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dale Dolar, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Barcellos Mineiro FC's Patricio Ugutz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Barcellos Mineiro FC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amerigo Gervasi in the 43rd minute of play forced Fillos de Breogán's goalkeeper Garibaldo Quijana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 51st match minute, Fillos de Breogán was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Waldemar Olszewski to maneuver through the defense. In the 52nd match minute, Barcellos Mineiro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amerigo Gervasi to maneuver through the defense. When Calisto Abril came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Fillos de Breogán fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Calisto Abril couldn't finish the play. After 65 played minutes Barcellos Mineiro FC got a freekick which was hit by Dale Dolar. Fillos de Breogán's Veremundo Caballero was substituted for Oto Gómez. Dale Dolar hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. The supporters of Barcellos Mineiro FC booed when Fillos de Breogán was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Bogatu didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Fillos de Breogán's Garibaldo Quijana got control of the ball when Dale Dolar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dale Dolar might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Garibaldo Quijana. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dale Dolar ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 71st minute of the match, Dale Dolar got a very nice opportunity to score, but Garibaldo Quijana was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Dale Dolar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fillos de Breogán's Garibaldo Quijana proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Fillos de Breogán from getting a goal against them. Patricio Ugutz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xesus Galaiko in the 74th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Dale Dolar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Garibaldo Quijana was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Barcellos Mineiro FC's Carlos-Henrique Casemiro was substituted for Tião Paraíba. Barcellos Mineiro FC made a substitution. Jorge Carrascal replaced Dale Dolar. 81 minutes had been played when some careless play by Fillos de Breogán's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Amílton Loyola was slow to take the kick. During this time Barcellos Mineiro FC's players had a chance to rest. After a rather tough play, Fillos de Breogán's Xabat Armada got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Garibaldo Quijana came out of the goal and Amílton Loyola tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Carrascal in the 85th minute of play forced Fillos de Breogán's goalkeeper Garibaldo Quijana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jorge Carrascal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fillos de Breogán made a substitution. Xoan Galaiko replaced Xesus Galaiko. Fillos de Breogán's Garibaldo Quijana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Carrascal in the 96th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Barcellos Mineiro FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Fillos de Breogán.
