The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Godfried Teunens stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Stiinta-Univ. booed when La Bichineta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Godfried Teunens didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, La Bichineta's Silvestre Peli got control of the ball when Aurel Panait tried to sneak it across the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, La Bichineta's goal looked a bit too open when Okan Koc came free, but Silvestre Peli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Stiinta-Univ.'s Silvestre Peli threw himself towards the right post 66 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Okan Koc, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Eliseo Iigo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Martin Crețu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Silvestre Peli was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. 81 minutes had been played when some careless play by La Bichineta's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Benjamim Urbano was slow to take the kick. During this time Stiinta-Univ.'s players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Benjamim Urbano got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Silvestre Peli quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Octavio Nueva was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 86 minutes into the match. The supporters of Stiinta-Univ. booed when La Bichineta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Octavio Nueva didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Benjamim Urbano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stiinta-Univ.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Benjamim Urbano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silvestre Peli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Stiinta-Univ.'s supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because La Bichineta had won, even though Stiinta-Univ. had held more of the ball.
