Markus Svensson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hermann Hesse read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Jack Glanselius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bartolo Basualdo in the 16th minute of the match. After 17 played minutes Real Södertälje got a freekick which was hit by Reynaldo Cerezo. Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Damian Regulez quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Manuel Baican, made in the 21st minute of the game. Geir Søfteland made in the 22nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Real Södertälje's Reynaldo Cerezo. Hermann Hesse made an important save on a dangerous shot by Markus Svensson in the 31st minute. Jack Glanselius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartolo Basualdo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Markus Svensson took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Hermann Hesse to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Urki Regalado in the 47th minute of play forced Deportivo Popolizio FBC's goalkeeper Hermann Hesse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A well done corner resulted in Ralf Björk drilling the ball in to score 2-0 behind Deportivo Popolizio FBC's goalkeeper. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Markus Svensson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Markus Svensson in the 55th minute of play forced Deportivo Popolizio FBC's goalkeeper Hermann Hesse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gaizkine Ibern received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Jack Glanselius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Deportivo Popolizio FBC made a substitution. Tibor Nyilasi replaced Gaizkine Ibern. In the 66th minute Real Södertälje were awarded a corner. Reynaldo Cerezo went to the cornerflag to take it. Olly Morgan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jack Glanselius having to interfere. Olly Morgan hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. In the 74th minute Rikard Wolff shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hermann Hesse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nils-Åke Wickander in the 77th minute of play forced Deportivo Popolizio FBC's goalkeeper Hermann Hesse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 94 played minutes Deportivo Popolizio FBC got a freekick which was hit by Niklas Hägglund. 95 minutes into the match, Deportivo Popolizio FBC's goal looked a bit too open when Nils-Åke Wickander came free, but Hermann Hesse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hermann Hesse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nils-Åke Wickander, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Real Södertälje had played much better football throughout.
