In the 31st minute Valentin Voicu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hermann Hesse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Deportivo Popolizio FBC's goal looked a bit too open when Valentin Voicu came free, but Hermann Hesse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. VILLARREAL UNITED's Valentin Voicu managed to work through Deportivo Popolizio FBC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Valentin Voicu dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Bartolo Basualdo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Baraxil Sarrate having to make a save. 39 minutes into the match, VILLARREAL UNITED's goalkeeper Baraxil Sarrate had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bartolo Basualdo. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind VILLARREAL UNITED's goalkeeper Baraxil Sarrate, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The crowd rose to their feet as VILLARREAL UNITED's Valentin Voicu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Hermann Hesse. That made the score 1-3 after 83 minutes of play. Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Niklas Hägglund quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Alonzo Egun, made in the 93rd minute of the game. VILLARREAL UNITED's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
