A. Independiente's Steve Sharp. Steve Sharp was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 14 minutes into the game, Tarkan Tuğkan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Steve Sharp was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in C. A. Independiente's zone, Juan Antonio Bertrand stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Steve Sharp came out of the goal and Juan Antonio Bertrand tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Juan Antonio Bertrand took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Steve Sharp. Steve Sharp dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. A throw-in in the 22nd minute of the game was made by Levi Clement with Xu Yun Quan as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Antonio Bertrand in the 26th minute of play forced C. A. Independiente's goalkeeper Steve Sharp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute of the game Levi Clement made a throw-in which Xu Yun Quan played forward. After 32 played minutes C. A. Independiente got a freekick which was hit by Rafael Flynn. Levi Clement made in the 33rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Wilbur Medeiros immediately put the ball in play. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Xu Yun Quan took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for 乔轩帆 to make any attempt to save it. Levi Clement hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Tarkan Tuğkan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Steve Sharp was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Áron Szél received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Steve Sharp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Almafuerte FC booed when C. A. Independiente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Todd Ogden didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Almafuerte FC were leading 1-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ferdinand Bauer to make the kick off. Áron Szél fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Steve Sharp having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Xu Yun Quan in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck 乔轩帆 prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferdinand Bauer in the 57th minute of play forced Almafuerte FC's goalkeeper 乔轩帆 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute, Áron Szél got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ferdinand Bauer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 乔轩帆 having to interfere. If Juan Antonio Bertrand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brady Hooks charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Brady Hooks the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Brady Hooks kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Steve Sharp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Antonio Bertrand, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Levi Clement got a throw-in 74 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Xu Yun Quan. Almafuerte FC's 乔轩帆 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xu Yun Quan in the 77th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Juan Antonio Bertrand took a quick shot and it went in 1-7 without a chance for Steve Sharp to make any attempt to save it. Steve Sharp made an important save on a dangerous shot by Juan Antonio Bertrand in the 86th minute. 90 minutes into the match, Áron Szél had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Steve Sharp. C. A. Independiente's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Áron Szél was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-8. Steve Sharp made an important save on a dangerous shot by Juan Antonio Bertrand in the 95th minute. Celestino Che's late challenge caught a C. A. Independiente's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Celestino Che helped the player get up and apologised. In the 96th minute, Celestino Che hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Almafuerte FC played a much better game than C. A. Independiente and deserved their victory. The C. A. Independiente players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
