Zoran Simović didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Henry Fagerberg went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Joel Gamus received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Magne Gunnarsson came out and tried to block the shot, but Joel Gamus slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 41st minute. In the 45th minute, Henry Fagerberg made a precise shot to the right of Zoran Simović. 17 de enero team's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Henry Fagerberg made a kick off. The ball had pretty good speed, but Zoran Simović firmly grabbed it by the left post. Isidoro Isidor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Magne Gunnarsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zoran Simović made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Sigvard Biörnberg sent off a good shot on target. In the 65th minute Joel Gamus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Magne Gunnarsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Magne Gunnarsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Isidor in the 68th minute of play. After some careless play in the Rönnöfors FF defense, Isidoro Isidor kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Magne Gunnarsson. The Rönnöfors FF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Magne Gunnarsson should have stopped the shot. 75 minutes into the match, Basarab Ipate had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Magne Gunnarsson. Rönnöfors FF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Basarab Ipate was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. With a little luck, 17 de enero team's Zoran Simović got control of the ball when Per Tunström tried to sneak it across the goal line. Magne Gunnarsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victoriano Iratzeder in the 89th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per Stenberg in the 91st minute of play forced 17 de enero team's goalkeeper Zoran Simović to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 93rd minute, Fabian Costin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Rönnöfors FF players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented 17 de enero team from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
