Cássio Rocks sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emīls Umbrass could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Feng Chao Wei made a huge save. In the 19th minute, Saul Goodman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 21st minute, Răzvan Jităreanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 29th minute, Saul Goodman made a precise shot to the right of Petre Encuțescu. Zecku's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After 36 minutes Villa Verde FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Wilfredo Lazcano who took care of the corner kick. In the 39th minute, Saul Goodman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Villa Verde FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Villa Verde FC's Saul Goodman got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Petre Encuțescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saul Goodman, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After the first half Villa Verde FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Zecku's Isidoro Manilan was substituted for Amadeo Pudes. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Saul Goodman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Júlio Vaz fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zecku's protests and gave Júlio Vaz a yellow card for diving instead. After 52 played minutes Zecku got a freekick which was hit by Júlio Vaz. Villa Verde FC's Feng Chao Wei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cássio Rocks in the 54th minute of play. Petre Encuțescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Villa Verde FC's Luís Guilherme Cearense was substituted for Saul Goodman. Villa Verde FC made a substitution. Belmiro Borges replaced Dida Viana. 74 minutes in the game Ismael Edwardo did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Emīls Umbrass. An unexpectedly hard shot by Júlio Vaz in the 76th minute of play forced Villa Verde FC's goalkeeper Feng Chao Wei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erivaldo Borges was slow to take the kick. During this time Villa Verde FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Villa Verde FC's Erivaldo Borges to fire away a dangerous shot which Petre Encuțescu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 87 minutes into the match, Zecku's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Guilherme Cearense came free, but Petre Encuțescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Petre Encuțescu came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Villa Verde FC's Luís Guilherme Cearense. But to his dismay, Luís Guilherme Cearense quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. 91 minutes into the match, Zecku's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Guilherme Cearense came free, but Petre Encuțescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Zecku's goalkeeper Petre Encuțescu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Alexsandro Garcia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luís Guilherme Cearense's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Petre Encuțescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. Villa Verde FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
