The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Gilbert Polkoski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 6 minutes into the match, TRICOSHOW F.CLUB's goal looked a bit too open when Tacettin Umay came free, but Santo Marcos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomás San Juan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Santo Marcos made a huge save. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Symba's goalkeeper Anis Achour, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 20th minute Sílvio Veiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santo Marcos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gilbert Polkoski kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, Symba's goal looked a bit too open when Marcel Nascimento came free, but Anis Achour reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 26 minutes Symba's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Linus Thanner who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on TRICOSHOW F.CLUB's corner Linus Thanner fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Anis Achour quite easily take care of the ball. With a little luck, TRICOSHOW F.CLUB's Santo Marcos got control of the ball when Tacettin Umay tried to sneak it across the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Tacettin Umay notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of TRICOSHOW F.CLUB's Santo Marcos. Santo Marcos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 32 minutes into the match, TRICOSHOW F.CLUB's goalkeeper Santo Marcos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomás San Juan. If Garðar Jóhannsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Anis Achour showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Garðar Jóhannsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Symba's Anis Achour played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Garðar Jóhannsson in the 34th minute of play. In the 36th minute Garðar Jóhannsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anis Achour saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Garðar Jóhannsson in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anis Achour saved Symba from getting behind. In the 44th match minute, Symba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Imed Akid to maneuver through the defense. Garðar Jóhannsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anis Achour. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Garðar Jóhannsson ran back to his position shaking his head. 47 minutes into the match, Symba's goal looked a bit too open when Garðar Jóhannsson came free, but Anis Achour reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sílvio Veiga made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tacettin Umay in the 52nd minute of play forced TRICOSHOW F.CLUB's goalkeeper Santo Marcos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. TRICOSHOW F.CLUB's Santo Marcos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tacettin Umay in the 53rd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Alexandre Pontes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Anis Achour. That made the score 1-1 in the 55 minute of play. Anis Achour showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Garðar Jóhannsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Garðar Jóhannsson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Anis Achour came out and tried to block the shot, but Garðar Jóhannsson slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 62nd minute. Santo Marcos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomás San Juan, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Santo Marcos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tacettin Umay in the 66th minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, TRICOSHOW F.CLUB's goal looked a bit too open when Tomás San Juan came free, but Santo Marcos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Santo Marcos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sílvio Veiga in the 70th minute of play. Garðar Jóhannsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Symba's Anis Achour proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Symba from getting a goal against them. In the 75th minute, Tacettin Umay ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Santo Marcos was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind TRICOSHOW F.CLUB's goalkeeper Santo Marcos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 81 played minutes Symba got a freekick which was hit by Garry Mann. Garðar Jóhannsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anis Achour read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. In the 84th minute, Garðar Jóhannsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anis Achour was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Santo Marcos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gus Wootton in the 88th minute of play. 88 minutes into the game, Claudinei Novaes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. TRICOSHOW F.CLUB's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Symba the free kick. Claudinei Novaes kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Sílvio Veiga hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. The Symba manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing TRICOSHOW F.CLUB to win.
