The audience was convinced that Arvid Carlsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rodolfo Anaya was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. When Albin Nilsson came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Linköpings AIK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albin Nilsson couldn't finish the play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The supporters of Tacheros OFF booed when Linköpings AIK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marbjörn Garpsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 79th minute, Marbjörn Garpsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 80 minutes into the match, Christian Najarro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jimmy Olsson, 1-2. Rodolfo Anaya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julien Staffelbach in the 86th minute of the match. The Linköpings AIK supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Tacheros OFF's performance. The match ended with a win for Tacheros OFF.
