After a defensive mix-up in Qjos MiLLano's zone, Tana Rede stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dário Neiva came out of the goal and Tana Rede tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Fredrik Masculier took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Dário Neiva to make any attempt to save it. Vítor Antunes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Qjos MiLLano's Luiz Teixeira got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 30th minute, Tana Rede ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. In the 47th minute, Tana Rede fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tana Rede was the one to do the kick off. Norberto Simão made in the 79th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Beniamin Madajczyk. Vítor Antunes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dário Neiva read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. Qjos MiLLano's Luiz Teixeira quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Dráuzio Santos, made in the 86th minute of the game. Dário Neiva came out of the goal and Beniamin Madajczyk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. During the 90th minute of the match Luiz Fabiano Soares completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Luiz Fabiano Soares a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game.
