An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamin da Fonseca in the 2nd minute of play forced Hamburg Fighters's goalkeeper Pavlos Konstantakakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benjamin da Fonseca scored 0-1 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pavlos Konstantakakis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 11 minutes into the match, Benjamin da Fonseca notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Hamburg Fighters's Pavlos Konstantakakis. Pavlos Konstantakakis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mădălin Lunca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dinu Bocu in the 14th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Hamburg Fighters's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin da Fonseca came free, but Pavlos Konstantakakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute Benjamin da Fonseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pavlos Konstantakakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Benjamin da Fonseca's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pavlos Konstantakakis was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Pavlos Konstantakakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin da Fonseca in the 24th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benjamin da Fonseca in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pavlos Konstantakakis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 36th minute, Benjamin da Fonseca made a precise shot to the right of Pavlos Konstantakakis. Hamburg Fighters's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. 39 minutes into the match, Pesqueira City's Benjamin da Fonseca sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pavlos Konstantakakis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 40 minutes into the match, Hamburg Fighters's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin da Fonseca came free, but Pavlos Konstantakakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 47 minutes into the game, Pesqueira City's Benjamin da Fonseca nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pavlos Konstantakakis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

In the 53rd minute, Dinu Bocu made a precise shot to the right of Mădălin Lunca. Pesqueira City's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benjamin da Fonseca got free with Pavlos Konstantakakis in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pavlos Konstantakakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin da Fonseca in the 61st minute of play. Benjamin da Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Pavlos Konstantakakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brandon Rick struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Mădălin Lunca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hamburg Fighters. Pesqueira City's Doriva Zanette was substituted for Ignat Nozharov. In the 75th minute, Dinu Bocu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mădălin Lunca was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-5. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dinu Bocu in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mădălin Lunca saved Pesqueira City from getting behind. 82 minutes into the match, Pesqueira City's goal looked a bit too open when Valerian Podlich came free, but Mădălin Lunca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Dinu Bocu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pavlos Konstantakakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastião Quintal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valerian Podlich fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mădălin Lunca having to interfere. Pavlos Konstantakakis made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Sebastião Quintal sent off a good shot on target. The corner led Pesqueira City's Ionuț Iniesta to fire away a dangerous shot which Pavlos Konstantakakis despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The Pesqueira City supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Pesqueira City would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
