The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Elpidio Amor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kaj Hård in the 4th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Franco Benvenuto got free with Lars Norberg in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Elpidio Amor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kaj Hård in the 10th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the match, spikarna's goalkeeper Lars Norberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Franco Benvenuto. If Franco Benvenuto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 20 minutes into the match, Timo!'s goal looked a bit too open when Kaj Hård came free, but Elpidio Amor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franco Benvenuto in the 26th minute of play forced spikarna's goalkeeper Lars Norberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind spikarna's goalkeeper Lars Norberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 30 minutes of play, Timo!'s Franco Benvenuto made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lars Norberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Franco Benvenuto in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lars Norberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Timo!'s Franco Benvenuto got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 37 minutes, Ilie Hurmuz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Timo!'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Ilie Hurmuz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. spikarna's Lars Norberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franco Benvenuto in the 39th minute of play. In the 40th minute Ilie Hurmuz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lars Norberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven Nordkvist in the 46th minute of play forced Timo!'s goalkeeper Elpidio Amor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, spikarna's Rickard Alefors got a free kick in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Franco Benvenuto made a kick off. Timo!'s Elpidio Amor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kaj Hård in the 52nd minute of play. Atakan Pepe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Elpidio Amor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 57 played minutes spikarna got a freekick which was hit by Niklas Söderberg. Lars Norberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ilie Hurmuz in the 58th minute of the match. Lars Norberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franco Benvenuto in the 67th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Timo!'s goalkeeper Elpidio Amor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kaj Hård. When Franco Benvenuto came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Timo! fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Franco Benvenuto couldn't finish the play. Timo! made a substitution. Izydor Karbowski replaced Ilie Hurmuz. Timo!'s Alexandr Lunin was substituted for Tadeusz Merski. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alexandr Lunin in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lars Norberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 83 minutes into the match, Timo!'s goal looked a bit too open when Sven Nordkvist came free, but Elpidio Amor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, spikarna's Olof Hamnberg got a free kick in the 88th minute. When Alexandr Lunin came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Timo! fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexandr Lunin couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Timo!'s Elpidio Amor got control of the ball when Olof Hamnberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Elpidio Amor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olof Hamnberg in the 94th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Alexandr Lunin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lars Norberg was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. Timo!'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
