Areco FC's Gabriel Urtats proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Areco FC from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Areco FC's Gabriel Urtats got control of the ball when Armindo Amado tried to sneak it across the goal line. Prospero Ledesma hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Reconquistense FC's Lucas Seme got a free kick in the 14th minute. After 21 played minutes Areco FC got a freekick which was hit by Zeledon Sol. With a little luck, Areco FC's Gabriel Urtats got control of the ball when Lucas Seme tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gabriel Urtats made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lucas Seme in the 27th minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 28th minute of the game. One of Areco FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Reconquistense FC:s goal. Gabriel Urtats had in the 30thth minute some difficulties stopping Armindo Amado's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his right side, but he still managed to hold the ball 30 minutes into the game, Armindo Amado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Gabriel Urtats was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gabriel Urtats showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armindo Amado in the 32nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Reconquistense FC's zone, Ismael Barros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Piara Tittarelli came out of the goal and Ismael Barros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 37 minutes had been played when some careless play by Reconquistense FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Edgardo Domiku was slow to take the kick. During this time Areco FC's players had a chance to rest. In the 38th minute, Lucio Galo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gabriel Urtats showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armindo Amado in the 42nd minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Lucas Seme took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Gabriel Urtats to make any attempt to save it. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zeledon Sol stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute of the match Reconquistense FC got a corner. Areco FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Augusto Alfonso ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Reconquistense FC's corner Augusto Alfonso fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gabriel Urtats quite easily take care of the ball. Gabriel Urtats made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Seme in the 54th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Armindo Amado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gabriel Urtats was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armindo Amado in the 59th minute of play forced Areco FC's goalkeeper Gabriel Urtats to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Areco FC's Edgardo Domiku quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Lucas Seme took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gabriel Urtats. Gabriel Urtats dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. 89 minutes into the match, Areco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jan Ahlqvist came free, but Gabriel Urtats reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jan Ahlqvist scored 6-1 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gabriel Urtats, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 95 minutes into the game, Gustavo Ferran cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-1. Gabriel Urtats was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
