An unexpectedly hard shot by Gu Zhan Qiang in the 42nd minute of play forced Malmö White Knights's goalkeeper Johnny Banks to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd minute Elvijs Presley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Richárd Textex saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 46 minutes, Roby Baggio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Malmö White Knights's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roby Baggio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 67th minute Dušan Vlahovic shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johnny Banks saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Johnny Banks showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dušan Vlahovic in the 68th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Elvijs Presley took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Richárd Textex to make any attempt to save it. Gu Zhan Qiang scored 1-2 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Johnny Banks, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Elvijs Presley scored 1-3 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Richárd Textex, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Malmö White Knights eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
