Ulf Nordlander's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jan Wessel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. In the 7th minute Iustin Hațegan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brazilio Butt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 8th minute of the match The Underdogs got a corner. DIF LEEDS BK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Iustin Hațegan ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of DIF LEEDS BK's goalie and right to André Luiz Linares. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. DIF LEEDS BK's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dolf Schoonderwoerd in the 11th minute of play forced DIF LEEDS BK's goalkeeper Brazilio Butt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When The Underdogs's Dolf Schoonderwoerd in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 32nd match minute, DIF LEEDS BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerry Jonasson to maneuver through the defense. Brazilio Butt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dolf Schoonderwoerd, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brazilio Butt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dolf Schoonderwoerd's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. In the 36th minute of the match The Underdogs got a corner. The corner led The Underdogs's Dolf Schoonderwoerd to fire away a dangerous shot which Brazilio Butt despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 36 minutes, Dolf Schoonderwoerd made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. DIF LEEDS BK's Brazilio Butt tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 41st minute, Ni Kun Jian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 41 minutes into the match, DIF LEEDS BK's goal looked a bit too open when Iustin Hațegan came free, but Brazilio Butt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, Dolf Schoonderwoerd had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Brazilio Butt. DIF LEEDS BK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dolf Schoonderwoerd was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Piearres Olalla was the one to do the kick off. Brazilio Butt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Piearres Olalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Piearres Olalla kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Brazilio Butt. That made the score 0-4 in the 51 minute of play. After 57 played minutes DIF LEEDS BK got a freekick which was hit by Dan Verhoeven. 62 minutes had been played when some careless play by DIF LEEDS BK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Iustin Hațegan was slow to take the kick. During this time The Underdogs's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Iustin Hațegan got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Brazilio Butt quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 66 minutes of play, The Underdogs's Piearres Olalla made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Brazilio Butt was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jan Wessel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Renzo Ingelborgs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 73rd minute, Renzo Ingelborgs ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jan Wessel was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-6. Dolf Schoonderwoerd scored 1-7 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Brazilio Butt, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 79th minute, The Underdogs's Dolf Schoonderwoerd dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-8. Jan Wessel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulf Nordlander in the 84th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, DIF LEEDS BK's Ni Kun Jian got a free kick in the 84th minute. With a little luck, DIF LEEDS BK's Brazilio Butt got control of the ball when Dolf Schoonderwoerd tried to sneak it across the goal line. Brazilio Butt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dolf Schoonderwoerd in the 90th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. The Underdogs had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
