The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luciano Victoro in the 12th minute of play forced Club Vertigo's goalkeeper Ovidiu Caranfil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Well-Well Benne had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emilian Martinez. Ovidiu Caranfil made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Luciano Victoro sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Kaplan defense, Vasile Iurea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emilian Martinez. The Kaplan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emilian Martinez should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Kaplan's zone, Vasile Iurea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emilian Martinez came out of the goal and Vasile Iurea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 26 minutes into the match, Kaplan's goal looked a bit too open when Ysmael Celerain came free, but Emilian Martinez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kaplan's Ren Zhi Ke suffered a sore thigh after 27 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Kaplan made a substitution. Wilfredo Cordario replaced Ren Zhi Ke. Roberto Carlos hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. After having played for 29 minutes, Damião Granja managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kaplan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Damião Granja was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Emilian Martinez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hüseyin Turan Çelenkoğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Club Vertigo's Ovidiu Caranfil proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Club Vertigo from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by He Feng Bin during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Emilian Moți hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Damião Granja took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ovidiu Caranfil. Ovidiu Caranfil dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Ovidiu Caranfil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damião Granja, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. A collision led to Club Vertigo getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Roberto Carlos hit a great ball. Club Vertigo's Ovidiu Caranfil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luciano Victoro in the 94th minute of play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
