Damião Granja's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Severino Hulberto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Luciano Victoros short, quick shot in the 22ndth minute got Severino Hulberto to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Severino Hulberto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pascual Burni in the 23rd minute of the match. Emilian Martinez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erasmo Lorencio, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. 24 minutes into the game, Erasmo Lorencio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Damião Granja stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The Kaplan supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Rivermania FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Rivermania FC.
