Charlie Beck started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the game, Georg Glad was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Strömsbro IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC BaLiSt the free kick. The supporters of FC BaLiSt booed when Strömsbro IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Georg Glad didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laureano Cresenciano in the 9th minute of play forced Strömsbro IF's goalkeeper Rıza Vuralhan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, FC BaLiSt's Chi Tzalov got control of the ball when Charlie Beck tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rıza Vuralhan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caetano Messias in the 12th minute of play. Chi Tzalov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tommy Asklöv, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rıza Vuralhan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caetano Messias, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Chi Tzalov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charlie Beck in the 18th minute of play. Strömsbro IF's Rıza Vuralhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Grigore Zberea in the 21st minute of play. Chi Tzalov made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Argyris Papapetrou sent off a good shot on target. Rıza Vuralhan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caetano Messias, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Caetano Messias to make the kick off. Laureano Cresenciano's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 55thth minute, Rıza Vuralhan skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Argyris Papapetrou blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Chi Tzalov having to make a save. Chi Tzalov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Argyris Papapetrou in the 65th minute of the match. The ball had pretty good speed, but Rıza Vuralhan firmly grabbed it by the left post. 81 minutes into the match, Strömsbro IF's Argyris Papapetrou sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Chi Tzalov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Chi Tzalov came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Strömsbro IF's Argyris Papapetrou. But to his dismay, Argyris Papapetrou quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Rıza Vuralhan was out of position in the 92 minute of play, and Yang Wei capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Yang Wei really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the FC BaLiSt players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
