An unexpectedly hard shot by William Westelinx in the 25th minute of play forced 【粤】佛山黄飞鸿龙狮队's goalkeeper 姜光勇 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 46 minutes, William Westelinx managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Ouagadougou National's supporters crossed their fingers, but William Westelinx was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and William Westelinx made a kick off. Cesare Antonacci hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. 姜光勇 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from William Westelinx, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 55th minute, William Westelinx ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. 姜光勇 was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 58th minute of the game. William Westelinx could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but 姜光勇 made a huge save. 【粤】佛山黄飞鸿龙狮队's 谢轩竞 was substituted for 袁森威. After a rather tough play, 【粤】佛山黄飞鸿龙狮队's 袁森威 got a free kick in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 86 minutes into the match, 【粤】佛山黄飞鸿龙狮队's goalkeeper 姜光勇 had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jedrzej Kiszkiel. In the 91st match minute, 【粤】佛山黄飞鸿龙狮队 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 余树默 to maneuver through the defense. Jedrzej Kiszkiels short, quick shot in the 93rdth minute got 姜光勇 to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Jedrzej Kiszkiel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jedrzej Kiszkiel struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. 姜光勇 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Ouagadougou National. The 【粤】佛山黄飞鸿龙狮队 fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC Ouagadougou National were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
